Expert in legionella prevention.

Welcome to Safe Water Consult, expert in legionella prevention. Discover how we ensure that water can be used safely at your location by your staff, visitors or residents.

We believe in a Belgium where everyone has access to safe water, where a shower can be taken without worries, and where cooling towers do not spread bacteria. Where buildings – large or small – are managed with expertise, and where health does not depend on luck, but on conscious choices. That is why we work every day to make legionella risks visible, manageable and manageable.

Legionella management is not an unnecessary luxury, but an essential part of healthy building management. It starts with a risk analysis, in which we examine the entire water circuit: from taps and boilers to pipes and less used zones. Based on this analysis, we draw up a practical management plan – a workable document that proposes realistic measures, adapted to the building, its use and the resources of the owner or operator.

Our approach is well-considered, feasible and aligned with legislation. Where regulations are lacking, we use recognised reference documents. In this way, we demonstrate that a location is operated in a responsible and substantiated manner, in line with the precautionary principle.

We consciously choose to collaborate: with owners, managers, technical services and other stakeholders. Because legionella management only works if it is supported by everyone who works with or lives in the building. Together we translate theoretical risks into concrete action, from uncertainty to trust.

One building at a time, we are helping to build a legionella-safe Belgium.

Charities

Because we believe everyone deserves access to safe water,

we donate 5% of our annual profits to these three organizations.

Join For Water, a Belgian ngo, guarantees water for people and nature alike, today and tomorrow. They operate in 8 countries, with various different partners. Together they are focused on climate action for a balanced water cycle and preserving the environment to protect water supplies. They improve access to, as well as the management of, drinking water and sanitation, and make water available for food production. They strive for conscious use.

Every year, they protect and restore water-rich nature areas, equivalent in size to 28,570 football pitches. Every year, 33,000 people enjoy the benefits of ecosystems that are protected and restored or gain sustainable access to water.

UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) protects the rights of children worldwide, operating in over 190 countries to provide essential healthcare, nutrition, clean water, education, and protection from violence. As the world's largest vaccine provider, it delivers emergency relief, tackles long-term inequality, and works to help children survive and thrive.

UNICEF’s Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) program operates in over 100 countries to provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene services, aiming to protect children from infectious diseases and improve health. The program focuses on building climate-resilient infrastructure, especially in schools and health centers, while promoting sustainable, community-led sanitation.

The Made Blue Foundation is a Dutch entrepreneurial, registered charity established in 2014 that provides clean drinking water in developing nations by matching the water consumption of partners (like hotels and offices) at a 1:1 ratio. They fund, install, and maintain sustainable water infrastructure, such as filters and wells, in schools, communities, and slums. Their aim is to ensure access to clean drinking water for everyone, which they are working towards with over 500 ambassadors. They make a firm promise to their ambassadors: every donation of 35 cents will provide 1,000 litres of clean drinking water in developing countries.
